By downloading or using Roollo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of the Roollo iOS app and the Roollo web companion at roollo.app.
Who Can Use Roollo
Roollo is designed for educators — teachers, instructors, and school administrators. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the app. By using Roollo, you confirm that you are using it in a professional educational capacity.
Your Content and Data
You retain full ownership of all class data, student names, and content you enter into Roollo. We do not claim any rights over your data. You are responsible for ensuring your use of student data complies with your school's data privacy policies and applicable laws such as FERPA.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Roollo only for lawful educational purposes. You may not:
- Use the app to collect or process student data in ways that violate applicable privacy laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute any part of the app
- Use the Live Check-In feature for purposes other than educational session management
- Misrepresent your identity or institutional affiliation
In-App Purchases
Roollo offers optional in-app purchases that unlock premium features. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Terms of Sale. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy. A one-time purchase unlocks all premium features with no subscription required.
Intellectual Property
Roollo and all associated content, design, trademarks, and code are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our express written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Roollo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. We recommend maintaining your own backups of important class data using the Export feature.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Roollo, including loss of data or interruption of service.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
